The Samsung Gear 360 is the first 360 degree camera by Samsung Electronics. It was released as a part of the Samsung Gear family of devices. It uses two cameras to take 360° photos and videos.

There are two models:
The original model released in 2016, the SM-C200, a sphere.
The updated model released in 2017, the SM-R210, a smaller sphere with integral handle.

It is important to mention that special permission is required for recording with a vehicle and in road traffic. Especially if you want to do this in active road traffic.

This is of course due to the privacy policy. But above all because of the safety in road traffic.

Usually it is best to involve the police and the relevant authorities. We have realized the tests mostly on private and commercial properties.

Enjoy the CarVia fleet in Virtual Reality

It was a special pleasure for us to realize this project together with CarVia. It was a good opportunity for us to test our equipment and to deliver good content to the ladies and gentlemen of CarVia. Besides photos and 3D scans we could also use the opportunity to test our 360 degree camera. All in all the VR content can only be enjoyed with VR glasses. Conclusion: Everything else is 2D.

Here are a few impressions of our project:

It is the essence of the Porsche marque. Taking inspiration from this heritage, the British artist Gerry Judah has created a sculpture. It consists of three pillars up to the height of 24 m, each crowned with a Porsche 911 mounted at the top. The vehicles hail from different 911 generations as a tribute to the history of the classic.

The original Porsche museum opened in 1976 in a side-road near the Porsche factory. It was a relatively small works museum with little parking space and it was only big enough to hold around 20 exhibits (in rotation).

Porsche built the museum as a kind of “rolling museum” with rotating exhibits from a stock of 300 restored cars, many in pristine condition and still in full driving order. After the new Mercedes-Benz Museum opened in the east of Stuttgart in 2006, Porsche went ahead with plans to upgrade and extend its museum in the northern district of Zuffenhausen next to the company headquarters. Actual costs to build the museum hit 100 million euros. Work on the concept for the new Porsche Museum began in 2003.

It was a special pleasure for us to realize this project. We learned a lot about our favorite vehicles and were able to convince with our services.
