Since the foundation of COEZBAY GMBH we are in direct contact with the IHK. In the last years we have visited many of the events personally and also participated online. We can recommend the direct contact with the IHK to everyone who has questions concerning self-employment or foundation.

IHK employees are also available personally at any time during regular working hours. For this reason, it is also possible to simply call the respective department for advice in case of spontaneous incidents or inquiries.

This is why the website of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce is always a good place to go before you go into action. We ourselves have not taken up the offer of start-up assistance. However, you don’t have to miss out on it if it can make it easier to get started.

Even though it can be useful to teach yourself everything yourself, you can save unnecessary costs. Especially when you realize that you have to pay the IHK fees anyway, as soon as you found an official company in Germany.

Whole areas for hours without electricity. The reason? The cable was cut by an excavator. This happens very often with gas pipelines and other supply networks as well.

Mixed reality headsets with integrated motion sensors and headphones can see at a glance, where excavations permitted and where not. This is an huge advantage for engineers or construction workers. “By using geographical data of the underground pipelines, mixed reality helps to avoid damage and construction delays.” Explains Cagatay Oezbay, founder and managing director of COEZBAY GmbH in Grunwald.

We can use Mixed reality systems to automatically recognize machines or people on the construction site. One receives suggestions on how to deal with the situation on the basis of this information. The 35-year-old entrepreneur says: “In bridge and road construction, mixed reality offers enormous potential”. And not only there. “In the future, numerous new fields of application will open up for Mixed Reality”, Oezbay expects.

Augsburg University of Applied Sciences is a German university located in Augsburg. Founded in 1971, but its institutional roots as an art academy go back to 1670. With more than 6,000 students the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest institutions of its kind in Bavaria.

Special thanks to Julian Leupold, who organized the 360 VR Drone Workshop University of Applied Sciences Augsburg with and for us.

It was an interesting experience to hold this workshop with the students of the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg. After the young ladies and gentlemen were all from the subject, the workshop got down to business relatively quickly. For this reason, we were able to immerse ourselves in technical details and the first tests relatively quickly. We particularly enjoyed the Q & A with the professors and students. As you will notice, especially the questions from Prof. Dr. Michael Kipp. In conclusion – This showed us that there is a lot of interest in the topics. Above all very sobering and motivating, to find out, that the future of the media is partly in the hands of such motivated young people.

Julian is an Art Director Motion at Jung von Matt with a strong background in interaction design, innovative conception, interactive storytelling, motion design and film. Focused on the interface between interaction design and linear media.

Two fully glazed high-capacity cabins transport up to 580 passengers per hour to the peak, banishing queues to history. Along the journey, they traverse the world’s highest steelwork pylon for aerial tramways at 127 metres, the world’s greatest overall height difference of 1,945 metres over one section as well as the world’s longest unsupported span, measuring 3,213 metres. Three incredible records – without even mentioning the magnificent panoramic views offered by the spacious cabins with floor-to-ceiling glazing. Thanks to heated windows, unobstructed visibility can also be enjoyed in bad weather. Views extend even as far as Munich on clear days.

All in all, an action-packed project in which we also fulfilled personal wishes. It is fabulous when you can approach projects in this way. At this point we would also like to thank the service staff of the peak or cable car. Without them all this would not have been possible.

Conclusion:

To sum up, the Infrastructure Deformation monitoring project was excellent. Above all we had the opportunity to test our new equipment. Like our Segway. For example to get faster from A to B. Consequently, it is possible to take pictures without having to record the step movements while walking. In other words, we can work faster and more precise.

Moreover we used our DJI Phantom Pro and in addition an SLR camera. In this case a Panasonic Lumix G81M.

The DJI Phantom 4 Pro, released in November 2016, has a three-axis stabilized camera with a 1-inch 20 MP CMOS sensor. It upgrades its obstacle avoidance with five directional sensors. The Phantom 4 Pro offers two remote controllers, one with a dedicated screen (Phantom 4 Pro+) and one without. It integrates an upgraded Lightbridge HD video transmission system that adds 5.8 GHz transmission support and a maximum downlink video transmission range of 7 km. In addition – DJI released a set of Goggles. Which can be used with various DJI equipment, including the Phantom 4 Pro, to allow for First Person View (FPV) flying.

First-person view

(FPV) also remote-person view (RPV), or simply video piloting. A method used to control a radio-controlled vehicle from the driver or pilot’s view point. To pilot a radio-controlled aircraft or other types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s). In other words you can control or steer the vehicle remotely. From a first-person perspective via an onboard camera, fed wirelessly to video FPV goggles or a video monitor. More sophisticated setups include a pan-and-tilt gimbaled camera controlled by a gyroscope sensor in the pilot’s goggles and with dual onboard cameras, enabling a true stereoscopic view.

As a result everything went smoothly and we were able to complete everything according to our schedule. To clarify, if we had not made it in time, it would have been quite expensive. Especially since we had the whole street closed for us. Likewise, in such a situation, both the road workers and surveyors must be reconvened. These unnecessary costs can be avoided with good planning and preparation. This is both in the interest of our customers and for us.

Visiting CeBit 2016 Hannover – We are looking forward to participating in CeBit 2016 from March 14 – 18, 2016. Please let us know if you will be there too and let us meet!

Background information:

CeBIT is the largest and most internationally representative computer expo. The trade fair appears each year on the Hanover fairground. The world’s largest fairground, in Hanover, Germany. Considered a barometer of current trends and a measure of the state of the art in information technology. Organized by Deutsche Messe AG.

With an exhibition area of roughly 450,000 m² (5 million ft²) and a peak attendance of 850,000 visitors during the dot-com boom, it is larger both in area and attendance than its Asian counterpart COMPUTEX. CeBIT is a German language acronym for Centrum für Büroautomation, Informationstechnologie und Telekommunikation, which translates as “Center for Office Automation, Information Technology and Telecommunication”.

History:

CeBIT is traditionally the computing part of the Hanover Fair, a big industry trade show held every year. Established in 1970, with the opening of the Hanover fairground’s new Hall 1. Then the largest exhibition hall in the world. However, in the 1980s the information technology and telecommunications part was straining the resources of the trade fair. So much that it was given a separate trade show starting in 1986, which was held four weeks earlier than the main Hanover Fair.

The number of visitors for the new exhibition increased to 830,000 in 2001. But by 2007 the CeBIT expo attendance had shrunk to around 200,000. After that attendance rebounded to 334,000 by 2010. The 2008 expo was marred by police raids of 51 exhibitors for patent infringement. In 2009, the U.S. state of California became official Partner State of Germany’s IT and telecommunications industry association, BITKOM, and of CeBIT 2009. focusing on environmentally-friendly technologies.
