]]> New media on the rise. Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and 360° film are trend topics for which there are still few regulations. This creates free space for experimenting and trying out. This prompts us to hold a 360 VR Drone Workshop University of Applied Sciences Augsburg.

Augsburg University of Applied Sciences is a German university located in Augsburg. Founded in 1971, but its institutional roots as an art academy go back to 1670. With more than 6,000 students the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest institutions of its kind in Bavaria.

Some points of the program list: Insights in professional drone flying, talks about 360-degree movie making, hands-on and networking at it’s finest.
The highlight: The presentation of the new KanDao Obisidian R VR camera.

Lecture at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences

Special thanks to Julian Leupold, who organized the 360 VR Drone Workshop University of Applied Sciences Augsburg with and for us.

It was an interesting experience to hold this workshop with the students of the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg. After the young ladies and gentlemen were all from the subject, the workshop got down to business relatively quickly. For this reason, we were able to immerse ourselves in technical details and the first tests relatively quickly. We particularly enjoyed the Q & A with the professors and students. As you will notice, especially the questions from Prof. Dr. Michael Kipp. In conclusion – This showed us that there is a lot of interest in the topics. Above all very sobering and motivating, to find out, that the future of the media is partly in the hands of such motivated young people.

Julian is an Art Director Motion at Jung von Matt with a strong background in interaction design, innovative conception, interactive storytelling, motion design and film. Focused on the interface between interaction design and linear media.

We thank for the successful event and wish all participants continued success.

]]> Supporting HFF Munich Students “Die Nacht vor Morgen” – It was a special pleasure for us to participate in this short film. We met many old and new friends. In addition we have learned a lot about conventional film shooting.

This film was made in cooperation with Maverick Film and the HFF Munich.

We are looking forward to further cooperation and love Supporting HFF Munich Students!

Once upon a time there were a few young people who wanted to make a film.
And had really good equipment.
And of course great masks.
They even set the time.
As they needed it.
And sometimes it is enough just to watch a movie.
And really, the sky’s the limit.

About the movie:

One more night to finish his application for the art school. Jonas is tired. Would be nice if that was his only problem… It will be a very, very long night.
