]]> Bavarian Sunrise Tour – Michael Radeck and Cagatay Oezbay have decided to use the winter time to photograph Bavaria from different perspectives, primarily from the air.

As a Bavarian company, it is a particular pleasure for us to realize projects in Bavaria. Starting with the magnificent mountains, the beautiful rivers and the wonderful lakes. This time we have realized this for ourselves free of charge. Not quite true. One drone (the DJI Mavic Pro) fell by the wayside. Nevertheless it was an action-packed tour with lots of fun and joy.

Since the golden hour is close to both gentlemen’s hearts, they started relatively early and made their way to the mountains.
Where do you have a better view than at the German weather service?
The stream has quite an interesting shape from the air.
Sometimes you just have to look at things from a distance.
And sometimes you have to look at things up close.

But you should still keep a certain distance. Or …

Unfortunately you will now witness the first drone accident of COEZBAY GMBH
Poor DJI Mavic Pro… Had his leg torn out.
Fortunately, a DJI Care package was purchased. So we were looking forward to the replacement soon and the conventional cameras were used.

The Bavarian Sunrise Tour was a successful change. We thank our team member Michael Radeck for this idea and for his commitment. We learned a lot about drone technologies, weather and safety precautions when working with drones.

For this project our big Octacopter is finally being used again. The film will be shown in the cinema afterwards. For this reason a good and heavy equipment is used. Hence the drone with the biggest payload we can offer.

We went to the mission site relatively early. Also the weather conditions had to fit. Especially because we needed the fog for the shooting. After a few drops of rain, which delayed our launch a bit, we took off with the DJI Mavic Pro to test the actual flight and the nature of the fog. Right after that we started with the “Big Octa”.

A little bit about the feature film:

Marie lives with her father and her little brother in the forest in a bunker underground. The world as we knew it no longer exists. When the father accidentally shoots a stranger while hunting, he has only two options. Marie knows that too. At home, she takes care of the unconscious man. While the father distrusts the stranger, Marie approaches him. For her, the supposed home is a prison from which she wants to break out, and the stranger might be able to help her. But when three marauders enter the bunker, Marie is no longer sure what her new friend is really up to.

The support for students of the HFF Munich was a matter of honor for us. We are looking forward to further cooperation.

]]> First Drone Flight – So far we have always flown with rented drones when we have received an order where aerial photography is required. As the number of requests in this area is increasing, we have decided to add a drone to our equipment. Of course the maiden flight must be made then. Where else but on our beautiful terrace!

There are a few great drone manufacturers on the market today, but there is only one that is absolutely dominating the market, DJI. Their latest drones are some of the best we’ve seen. In terms of high-end cameras that take to the sky, DJI is leading the pack. We chose the DJI Mavic Pro because we are convinced that it is perfectly suited to our everyday needs. In addition, it is extremely fast ready for use, handy and extremely easy to fly. But above all it produces some superb aerial shots. Our First Drone Flight was a complete success. And we are looking forward to the projects in which we can use the drone.

In the coming days and weeks you will certainly have the opportunity to view the content and projects we are creating with the drone.
